Application
To apply, click on the Career Openings link located at the top of this page. When applying, be sure to mention the name of the position and location on your resume and cover letter. 
Timeline
From the time of the first interview, our hiring process takes approximately three to four weeks for completion. Please let us know of any upcoming scheduling conflicts you may have in your first interview.
Scheduling an Interview
After your resume has been approved, an HR representative will call to schedule your first interview. They will also review what you should bring with you to your interview as well as give you driving directions. You should plan on being here for about two hours for your first interview. Should you have any additional questions, the HR representative will be available to answer them at this time.
Interviews
When you arrive for your first interview, you will be asked to fill out an application and a pre-employment release of information. When filling out your application please bring with you the names and addresses of your references as well as any previous employment information (such as company address and phone number and the name of your supervisors). After you have completed your paperwork you will meet with a HR representative who will discuss available opportunities that correlate with your qualifications. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have at this time. After your interview you may be asked to complete a job related assessment test. If your skills match the ones required for the opportunity we have available, you will be contacted within seven days to schedule a second interview with the hiring manager and possibly others in the department, depending on availability.
Job Offer
A job offer may be extended to you over the phone but will be followed up with a letter in writing. The letter will include your salary information and your start date. You will have the opportunity to review all benefit information as well as our 401k information and numerous other benefits online with a password that will be provided for you.
Background Checks
After an offer has been accepted, a background check will be conducted through a third party vendor. You were asked to sign a form authorizing this check when you first applied for a position with us. A criminal conviction will not necessarily bar you from employment as long as this conviction is disclosed on your application. Outside factors such as age at time of offense, seriousness of offense and length of time passed will also be considered when evaluating your background check.
New Hire Orientation
All employees are required to attend our New Hire Orientation. Orientation is conducted every other Monday and lasts for three and half days. Orientation is held in our Akron, Ohio corporate headquarters. Included in orientation is a presentation from one of our top executives as well as a tour of the facilities in Akron. All travel arrangements will be made for you when your orientation is scheduled. All accommodations for orientation including rental car (if required), hotel (if required), meals and per diem will be provided to you.
